Every year, many thousands of scientific papers are published on climate change and its economic, environmental and social consequences. However, its connections with feelings or the desire for intellectual and physical union between human beings are never mentioned. Based on the book published by Stefano Caserini for People Edizioni, “Sex and the climate. Conference-show to really prepare to face the changing climate” tries to fill this gap, telling with images, music and scientific explanations of the connections, points of conflict and synergies between these two worlds, eros and climate, apparently distant. The clues scattered in scientific journals, the sometimes funny or bizarre traces scattered in newspapers, books, songs and in the endless spaces of the web, are shown and told with the background of jazz and pop music, involving the public to understand how this connection could evolve in the future, but also how we could react and prepare ourselves. And who knows, maybe even to find a way to take advantage of it and have fun.
